Catalog description

This course studies the Silver Age of Spanish literature: the novels, plays, and poetry of Miguel de Unamuno, Pio Baroja, Azorin, Antonio Machado, and Ramon del Valle Inclan. Special consideration is given to the Problem of Spain and the Generation's role in the development of Spanish modernity.
