This course examines the development of Spanish poetry from the nineteenth century to the present. It focuses on the poetic techniques and the sociopolitical contexts of each work. Authors may include Vicente Aleixandre, Luis Cernuda, Jorge Guillen, Pedro Salinas, and Rafael Alberti.
