Catalog description

This low intermediate course bridges the gap between the elementary and the intensive intermediate levels. In addition to providing students with the grammar review needed for oral and written expression, the course emphasizes the active use of the language through the use of collaborative, situational, and presentational exercises, and the discussion of short readings and current issues. This course requires the use of an online language laboratory component.
