Catalog description

Methods and techniques utilized in the investigation of leadership and group dynamics. An analysis of face-to-face groups, intergroup friction, impact of the leader on the group, and attitude change techniques. This course provides grounding in modern leadership theory, power, influence, and the managerial transformation of work organizations. Topic include leadership styles, the impact of management on establishing organizational culture, conflict and negotiation in work organizations, and the effective management of groups and work teams.
