Public Service Capstone

Catalog description

The capstone course of the public service minor requires students to identify a social, economic, or political problem, develop a causal analysis, and propose a public service action plan to meliorate the condition. Students will have an opportunity to delve more deeply into the problem through the lenses of policy, politics, social action, law, and/or governance. The outcome will be a portfolio demonstrating how public service can bring about change.This course is cross listed with POL 4403. Credit will only be granted for one of these courses. These courses may substitute for each other with the F-replacement option.
