Catalog description

This course addresses major issues in educational finance and budgeting with a particular focus on New York State and New York City. Financial topics include federal, state and local tax structures and resource allocation rules. This course also offers instruction on how to find and access additional sources for school revenue, such as through grant writing. Open only to MSED and MPA students. Students from other degree programs by permission only.
