This course focuses on private mobility (e.g., cars, bicycles, new technologies), local public and collective transportation (e.g., buses, subways, light rail) in urban U.S. settings. Transportation policies that drive capital planning and demand management have implications for land use, the environment, and the equitability of access to opportunities. Open to Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs students; others with Marxe School permission.
