Catalog description

This course introduces data analytics tools and their application in a healthcare context, with an emphasis on quality and performance improvement projects. Students will use statistical tools to analyze medical data sets to transform numbers, patterns, and trends into information suitable for decision making. Students will apply managerial frameworks such as PDSA, Lean, or Six Sigma to manage quality and performance improvement in health outcomes.
