Catalog description

This course is concerned primarily with techniques for solving mathematical problems on digital computers. Topics to be included are: solutions of non-linear equations and systems; direct and indirect methods of solving linear systems; numerical differentiation and integration; polynomial interpolation. Not open to students who have completed MTH 4400.
