This course is designed to prepare students who will be taking mathematics 4010 to understand, and compose for themselves, the kind of demanding proofs that occur in advanced calculus. This course may not be used in the mathematics minor.MTH 4009 is not open to students who have completed MTH 4000 or MTH 4010
