This course introduces the fundamental aspects of international business management and its operations for a rapidly evolving global economy. Students will explore the interplay between micro (firm) and macro (country) factors that shape global commerce. Topics covered in this course relate to cultural, political and legal environments that impact international business. The course also provides an overview of trade and investment theories and their practical implications. Additionally, students will explore the workings of global financial markets, gaining insight into their operations and their influence on business decisions.Throughout the course, students will examine real-world examples to illustrate key concepts such as how cultural differences affect marketing strategies, how currency fluctuations affect investment decisions, and how political instability affects global supply chain management. Moreover, students will analyze the dynamics of international business relationships and assess risks associated with cross-border trade and investment. Upon completion of the course, students will possess practical analytical skills to actively participate in the dynamic global business landscape.
