Catalog description

This intensive Italian course aims to further develop and refine communicative proficiency of the target language and culture for students with foundational experience in the language by building upon and improving the five skills of reading, writing, speaking, listening and cultural competency. Emphasis is on enhancing communication skills and knowledge of Italian culture and traditions. Self-expression is developed in a highly interactive learning environment using situational dialogues, audiovisual aids, select technology-enhanced learning exercises, and collaborative and presentational activities.
