This is an introductory course to the history and archaeology of ancient Egyptand Nubia from early dynastic times until the Roman Period. This course pairsrich archaeological material with documentary sources in order to fully documentlife in ancient Egypt and Nubia. Experiential learning, through museum visits tothe Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Brooklyn Museum, is integrated into thecourse
