Covering the Business of Arts and Culture

Catalog description

This course helps journalists understand the underlying finances of the arts and culture and the business issues with which both artists and institutions must deal. Designed to enable students to research and cover art and culture in terms of for-profit and nonprofit business, the focus is on particular industries, including film, television, visual arts, publishing, theater, dance, and music.
