Catalog description

This course focuses on the communicative issues and challenges organizations face in the contemporary global and digital environment. Students will be introduced to various theoretical and practical perspectives and concepts regarding the emerging transnational roles of organizations in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and ethical practices, for addressing the complexities of globalization and new media. They will explore the communicative dynamics of various sectors in multinational and cross-national contexts, and critically assess the convergent and divergent forms of CSR communication across the global North and South.
