Catalog description
This course examines the dynamics of individuals in interaction with supervisors, colleagues, subordinates, customers, and external organizational stakeholders. It will focus on the critical skills that are needed in a business world that is increasingly focused on an ability to get along with others and work well in teams. The course will cover the influence of language and communication on decision-making, critical thinking, negotiation, conflict management, and multicultural interpersonal and group processes. Students interested in this course should see a department advisor.
