Catalog description

This course studies the portrait of Paul and the good news provided by the early Christian community as preserved in the Letters of Paul as well as the Acts of Apostles of the New Testament. The course focuses on understanding who Paul is as well as interpreting his theology as it manifests through his letters in their specific historical, social, and literary contexts. The ultimate objective is to uncover Paul's particular contribution to both the early development of Christianity and contemporary social issues and challenges to authentic faith.
