Catalog description

Student in Creighton's occupational therapy, pharmacy, and physical therapy programs learn to care for patients in mind, body, and spirit. The course is an introduction to Ignatian spirituality and the capacity to discern in one's profession and life. It includes three distinct sections: 1) and introduction to Ignatian spirituality; 2) the basics of Ignatian discernment; and 3) what it means to care for the whole person - mind, body, and soul. Satisfies Magis Core: Intersections, Designated Oral Communication, and Designated Written Communication. P: Contemporary Composition, Criticial Issues in Human Inquiry, Oral Communication. CR: Enrolled in School of Pharmacy and Health Professions; BS degree, IHS majors only.
