Catalog description
In the beginning," we are told in Genesis 1:1, "God created the heavens and the earth," and from that one act of divine initiative unfolds everything that is. The Christian theological tradition refers to this act and its result as "creation." This class explores in detail the two-thousand-year history of Christian theological reflection on the creation. Special attention will be given to the ways in which Christian theologies of creation are currently being reshaped and advanced by scientific cosmology. Satisfies Magis Core: Ultimate Questions.
