Catalog description
Prepares students to advance client/system well-being at the macro level. Students will apply concepts and principles of advocacy for social, economic, and environmental justice with marginalized and disenfranchised populations at the organization and community levels. Emphasis is on constructing and using ethical and professional social work frames of reference for social work practice and strengthening skills from an anti-racist, anti-oppressive perspective.
