Advanced Spanish Translation

Catalog description

Focused on the translation of short texts: literature, media, technical, medial or diplomatic, contemporary situations. Through intensive study of techniques behind the exercise of translation, students will learn how to recognize and adapt the socio-linguistic parameters of Spanish and English to the context and the needs of the translation. P: One Magis Core Ethics course; Six credits at the SPN 401 -425 level.
