This course offers a panoramic view of contemporary films from and about the Latino/a world. Through the viewing of movies and the reading of contextual and theoretical information students will explore how film can be considered a legitimate art form that contributes to an ongoing cultural dialogue. P: Six credits of SPN at the 401-425 level.
