Catalog description

This course is designed for students who may be planning a career in medicine, dentistry, nursing, and pharmacy and allied health but open to all. The course focuses on issues surrounding immigrant health in the U.S. It is intended for students who have had prior study of Spanish and who wish to improve their understanding of these issues when dealing with Spanish-speaking persons in a medical context. P: Six credits at the SPN 401 -425 level.
