Catalog description

This course explores how Caribbean literature and music, from salsa to reggaeton, shape identity, with particular attention to themes of migration, race, among others. As part of the Puerto Rico study abroad program, students engage in service learning and/or collaborations with local organizations. This course is taught in Spanish. P: 6 credits of SPN 300-level or IC.
