Introduction to Hispanic Linguistics

This course is an introduction to the main concepts and methods of analysis of linguistics, focusing on Spanish. Students will acquire knowledge of various areas of Spanish linguistics including phonetics and phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, language variation and changes from diachronic as well as synchronic perspectives.
