PMC 417 will equip students and practicing paramedics with the essential knowledge and skills to integrate evidence-based practice (EBP) into their clinical decision-making processes. Students will explore the principles, methods, and practical applications of EBP in out of hospital care. The course will focus on the foundations of evidence-based practice, encompassing critical appraisal skills, research methodologies, and ethical considerations. Students will learn to critically analyze and apply the latest evidence from research studies, guidelines, and best practices in real-world scenarios,including examination of research methodologies relevant to paramedicine.
