PMC 413 prepares students for operational roles and responsibilities to ensure safe patient, public, and personal safety. Topics include principles of safely operating a ground ambulance, incident management, response to multiple casualty incidents, principles of triage, criteria for utilizing aeromedical response and transport, bioterrorism response, simple vehicle extrication, and hazardous materials awareness.
