PMC 303 is designed to provide students with an overview of the field of para medicine and the vital role that paramedics play in the healthcare system. This introductory course serves as the foundation for integrating comprehensive knowledge of EMS systems; the safety and well-being of the paramedic; standard precautions for infectious diseases, including immunizations and personal protective equipment; medical legal aspects of EMS; and ethical considerations.
