Catalog description

This course provides a broad survey of scientific understanding of the physical processes, structure, and evolution of objects in the universe in a lecture format. Topics include the nature and motions of celestial objects, the solar system, stars, galaxies, stellar remnants, large-scale structure in the universe and cosmology. P: Magis Mathematical Reasoning; Magis Core Understanding Natural Science, or IC. CO: PHY 110 .
