Catalog description
NUR 722 provides a theoretical and practical base for students to diagnose and manage common and uncomplicated acute episodic and chronic health problems of infants and children that are managed predominantly in primary care settings. Content includes management strategies from the domains of nursing, medical and pharmacological therapeutics. Students are expected to apply the concepts and theories explored in coursework to the care of pediatric patients in concurrent and subsequent clinical practicum courses.
