Catalog description

NUR 718 provides a theoretical base for Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner students to diagnose and manage health problems of adults and older adults in a variety of settings including primary and acute care. Content includes management strategies from the domains of nursing and pharmacology and emphasizes direct care to patients with health problems in selected organ systems. Students are expected to apply the concepts and theories discussed in class to the care of adult patients across the lifespan in subsequent clinical courses. P: NUR 687 , NUR 694 . CO: NUR 739 .
