NUR 323 introduces concepts central to the role of the baccalaureate-prepared registered nurse. Students will learn about nursing scope and standards of practice, interprofessional practice, nursing specialties, and essential leadership competencies. The course emphasizes concepts foundational to resource allocation and utilization in managing the delivery of care, and integrates these concepts in the context of leadership roles in care management, clinical outcome improvement, and interprofessional collaboration.
