Building on the foundation of MGT 315 , this course develops students’ legal analytical skills in the context of business leadership. Students will learn about selected topics including: choosing a business entity, partnerships, life and death of a corporation, professional liability, employment law and employee rights, discrimination and diversity, advanced contracts, secured transactions, bankruptcy, real property, personal property, intellectual property protection, and wills and trusts.
