Catalog description

In this course, students will explore the role of leadership and why a good leader is also a good coach. Students will explore three core values of an effective coach: people, performance, and process. Students will describe and demonstrate the Ten Skills of Coaching. Students will conduct an effective coaching session and develop and action plan in partnership with a colleague. CR: Enrolled in the BS-Leadership program; Enrolled in the BS-Paramedicine program.
