This course explore the history of infectious disease outbreaks from the Middle Ages to today, tracing the development of modern medicine andtheories of disease. We'll ask what we can learn about how diseases affect our bodies, groups of people, ways of thinking, politics, society, art, and literature. CR: Membership in the Honors Program.
