Catalog description

This course examines the ways in which religious activity, beliefs, and aspirations are presented in literature. Can literature convey information about religion that standard academic discussions cannot? Does literature help to convince us that certain religious beliefs are plausible or implausible, or that certain religious aspirations are worthwhile or not? CR: Only open to students in the Honors Program.
