Sources and Methods: American Identity in the World

This Sources and Methods course in the Honors Program examines the ways in which Americans construct themselves and are constructed by others elsewhere in the world. The course explores the ideologies and rhetorical strategies, as well as the material realities and lived experiences, at work in defining what it means to "be" and American, both for those residing in the U.S. and for those who have never set foot on U.S. soil. CR: Only open to students in the Honors Program.
