This Sources and Methods course in the Honors Program examines the fundamental concepts of modern evolutionary biology and how they are studied. Students examine the nature of science; the distinction between science and pseudoscience; types of explanation, modes of reasoning, and levels of analysis; and ways by which evolutionary hypotheses may be tested. CR: Only open to students in the Honors Program.
