Catalog description

This Sources and Methods course explores the multiple senses of "film" (long strip of plastic, cinematic art object, separated form, means of understanding the structure of the World) as an approach to the most basic branch of academic philosophy: metaphysics. The course involves a mixture of film viewing, critical reading, classroom discussion and lecture, and on-line activities. CR: Only open to students in the Honors Program.
