Public History Internship

Catalog description

A supervised on-the-job experience at government or private agencies in applying historical knowledge and methods to cultural resources management, museum and/or archival work, historic preservation, and other areas of public and applied history. HIS 585 may be taken twice for up to six credit hours, but only three of credit hours may be used toward the history major requirements. CR: HIS major, Jr. stdg. and DC.
