Catalog description

An introduction to physical geology designed for environmental science majors. Topics include an examination of rock types, evolution and geological times, soil development and processes, earthquakes and global tectonics. In-class laboratories will be devoted to identification of rock types, soil analysis, and determination of fossil types. CR: So. stdg., or IC.
