This course introduces students to the field of forensic anthropology. Through lecture content and written assignments, students examine the development, theoretical and methodological bases, and current application in forensic anthropology. students will gain a theoretical understanding of how these methods are used in the investigation and detection of crime, the processing of mass disasters, the recovery of war dead and missing persons, and in international human rights investigations.
