Catalog description

Opportunities for face-to-face discussion are on the decline. Equipped with technology to express ourselves in relationships, to conduct work, and to engage in learning, feelings of isolation, misunderstanding, and suspicion are common. Without lamenting the digital revolution, or failing to celebrate the advantages and opportunities digital life affords, the fact is, we need to talk. Discussion allows people to work through ideas together, rather than in isolation, to hear and acknowledge alternative perspectives, to develop a richer sense of what might be possible or necessary to consider together.
