An Architectural, Artistic, and Social Historical Survey of the city of Rome, concentrating on the ancient city but also tracing its development (as appropriate) through modern times. Political History will be covered to the extent needed to provide a framework for the course, but does not overlap with CNE 404 / HIS 404 .
