A survey of current topics at the interface of organic chemistry and biology, with emphasis on a chemical understanding of biological infrastructure, the interactions of small organic molecules within biochemical systems, structure-activity relationship profiling of natural and synthetic drugs, and the relevance of small molecule therapeutics in modern society.
