Catalog description

The course addresses several current topics within the field of neuroscience. Topics are selected based on the most highly cited works in the field over the past two years. Neuroscience encompasses information from many different scientific fields. We will cover anatomical, cellular, molecular, physiological, and biochemical aspects of developmental neurobiology. Please think of this course as a mental exercise and open yourself up to the intricate, intertwining concepts underlying the function of the brain. Students are required to present primary literature using an oral presentation format. 3R. P: BIO 462 ; Oral Communication; CR: Senior standing or IC.
