Drawing Fundamentals

Catalog description

This introductory course encompasses both drawing and design. Students explore diverse subjects - still-life, landscape, animals, human figure, portraiture. Various drawing techniques and attitudes will be covered. Principles of two dimensional design are woven into each project. Introduction to the History of Art, expansion of personal creativity and evolution of meaningful themes will be pursued. Satisfies Magis Core: Fine Arts. Studio Arts materials fee is charged.
