An introduction to the design and use of computer-based information systems in accounting. Topics addressed include computer-based accounting systems, databases, accounting cycles, technology reporting standards (e.g., XBR), computer fraud and abuses, control frameworks, trust services framework, and internal controls in and auditing of computer-based systems.
