Catalog description

The goal of this course is to provide students with a review of the most common clinical behavior presentations, which will be applied to clinical cases in the Behavior Medicine Service. The class will involve weekly 2-hour case review sessions where students will discuss assigned cases. The information will then be applied to clinical cases seen by the Behavior Service. Students will be required to observe at least two clinical behavior cases during the course. Students may be challenged to communicate with the pet owners to obtain a detailed history, assign a diagnosis, and develop a comprehensive treatment plan.
