Catalog description

Provides hands-on experience in the Surgical Pathology Service of the AHDC/Department of Population Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences. Working with the attending pathologist and residents on duty, students examine tissue specimens histologically, propose diagnoses, and discuss their interpretations. May be repeated up to 4 credits.
